Introductive Seminar on waterproofing and adhesive products in Construction

On February 27^th 2008 SIMCO Songda joint-stock Company in conjunction with BOSTIK Singapore Company of Group Total - Fina - Elf, held a introductive seminar on waterproofing and adhesive products in construction under the auspices of Songda Corporation and Vietnam Institute for Building Materials. The seminar also had the presence of the representative of Science and Technology Department of Ministry of construction, specialized Institutes, design and consultancy companies and construction contractors.

At the seminar, BOSTIK's representative introduced to the attendees the characteristics of waterproofing and adhesive products such as:  tile adhesive grouts,  joint filling grouts, wood adhesives, insulation and sound deadening materials, Membranes, Accessories, Waterproofing Membranes, epoxy mortars and adhesives, etc.

Director of center of Applied and Development Building Materials of VIBM, M.Sc. Hoang Van Thinh presented some experience in using waterproofing materials to repair and restore several large constructions executed by Applied and Development Building Materials of VIBM for recent years.  

To diversify waterproofing and adhesive products for Vietnam market SIMCO Song Da   joint-stock Company should be omitted reached an agreement with BOSTIK to be the official distributor of BOSTIK’s products and is planning on setting up a factory producing the products in Vietnam in the near future.
