DR. NGUYEN QUANG HIEP

President of Vietnam Institute for Building Materials, Vietnam

Dr. Nguyen Quang Hiep is the 8^th president of the Vietnam Institute for Building Materials (VIBM). He earned his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in Building Materials from Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. Beginning his career in 1995 at the Vietnam Institute for Building Science and Technology, he held various important positions over the years. From 2014 to 2017, he served as the director of the Center for Technology Development of Management and Construction Inspection at the State Agency for Construction Quality Inspection. Before becoming VIBM's president, he was the Deputy Director General of the Building Materials Department, Ministry of Construction from December 2017 to January 2024.
